21 June 2013 No Comment

When was the last time you thought about your impact on the world?

Tata Group has been spreading the sustainability message by encouraging workers to think green in everything and anything that they do with its dedicated Tata Environment Month. Tata’s environmental pledge this year focuses on SMART – Sustainable Meaningful Actions for a Responsible Tata way.

Proving the caring for the environment doesn’t have to cost the earth. All it takes is a change in attitude and some conscious consideration.

Tata workers across its many different companies are uniting to show that even the simplest things – such as turning off computers and reusing water to travelling to work through pedal power – collectively can make a big change.

Tata employees can also take a personal green ‘pledge’ in June to show that the environment and caring for the planet means the world to them, reinforcing the campaign’s message that ‘sustainability starts with you’.

And through a dedicated Facebook page, the SMART movement is spreading its message beyond the corporate world, with shared easy hints and tips for cleaner, greener living designed to make us all think – what did I do for my world today?
