Bennet Building scores best in class

28 September 2015 No Comment

The Bennet Building at Babraham Research Campus in Cambridge is made even more impressive by its striking aluminium standing seam roofing system from Kalzip®.  Built for Babraham Bioscience Technologies Ltd, this flagship building was designed by Archial NORR and built by SDC Builders Ltd.

It was the blend of experience, product knowledge, design skills and installation competence that saw KGM Roofing Ltd (KGM) score a hat-trick of awards at the 2015 Teamkal Conference and Awards Ceremony, and well earned recognition for installation of The Bennet Building, one of numerous first-class Kalzip® installations this year and winner of the ‘Best Kalzip® project under 1500m2’ category.

Winning combination

The Bennet Building features the truly impressive Kalzip® aluminium standing seam roofing system.   The complete package for the roof system was wholly supplied by Kalzip from the roof itself to the bespoke aluminium curved soffit and fabrications.

The winning mix and strong visual impact of the roof was made even more noticeable by the neatness of the welding to the seams on the roof system and its tapering areas and the quality of the bespoke curved aluminium soffit and fabrications, all undertaken and installed to the highest standards by KGM.
