17 October 2013 No Comment

Tata Steel is set to energise the UK solar energy market with the launch of its new Ground Mount Solar PV System, which is innovatively engineered to reduce installation costs.

Designed to maximise available space and sunlight, the ground-mounted solar PV panel system manufactured by Tata Steel can be built on any terrain and withstand even the roughest weather conditions from heavy rain to hail, strong winds and snow.

Manufactured and designed by Tata Steel to allow for greater tolerances whilst minimising installation costs, each system is tailored to a customer’s specific requirements.

Landscape, weather and location all determine the system’s shape, size and layout to not only maximise its output but its durability, with full support and installation training from Tata Steel’s established project management team.

Tata Steel’s ground mounted solar PV system, which offers a large-scale solar energy solution backed by a 25-year performance guarantee, is already successfully in place in the Isle of Wight, Sussex and Cumbria.

Aimed at engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and utility companies, developers and planners, the UK-wide launch of the system represents a significant investment for Tata Steel, which is already shining bright in the solar power sector with over 50MW experience, as it works in partnership with industry and Government towards renewable energy targets.
