Tata Steel short-listed for Construction Marketing Awards 2011
Tata Steel have been short-listed for the best product launch category at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMA) 2011. Our entry was for the relaunch of Colorcoat Primsa® pre-finished steel for the building envelope, which reached the market in June – September last year.
The awards run by the Charted Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) are reported to be the of the highest quality seen. Judges Chair Ian Exall said:
“I’m really pleased with another year of record entries. It shows marketers’ creativity and enterprise is not dulled by the awful economy. I’m also really pleased by the growing strategic influence CIMCIG members are obviously having on their companies’ activities.”
Re-launch of Colorcoat Prisma®
Colorcoat Prisma® was first launched drawing on a need in the market for an aesthetical, high performance product. For the relaunch Tata Steel introduced 10 new colours to the range and increased their award winning Confidex® Guarantee by 10 years.
Building coutre concept
Our award entry, which features the ‘building couture’ concept identifies how the clear campaign objectives were met through a variety of communication methods and innovations, and measures the success of the overall campaign.
